This policy explains what information Pivot collects when you visit or buy from pivotsupplyco.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number if you give us one, and your order details. We do not see or store your full card number — payment details go directly to our payment processors.

When you browse the site, we automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

WHY WE COLLECT IT

To process and ship your order, to email you about that order, to answer your questions, to detect fraud, to understand how the site is used, and to measure our advertising.

COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta pixel and Google Analytics, to understand how people use our site and to measure our advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share what's necessary with the companies that make the store work:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments
  • Our payment providers, to take payment and prevent fraud
  • Our fulfilment partner, to pack and ship your order
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver it
  • Analytics and advertising providers, as described above

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete other information at any time.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Email hello@pivotsupplyco.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We'll honour those requests regardless of where you are.

MARKETING EMAILS

If you opt in, we may email you about products and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link and we'll act on it immediately.

CHILDREN

This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

SECURITY

We use Shopify's infrastructure, which encrypts data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

CHANGES

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
