Will it damage my blades?
No. Nothing touches the edge and nothing scrapes. There's no heat and no abrasive. Dry them properly and oil after, same as always.
Does this replace disinfecting?
No. This does the cleaning step. You still run your disinfectant after. Cleaning first just ensures your disinfectant isn't fighting through packed buildup.
Do my tools actually fit?

The mechanism
Bubbles go where bristles can't.
The tank vibrates the water 49,000 times a second. That's fast enough to tear microscopic bubbles open and collapse them again — a process called cavitation.
Each collapse is a tiny scrub against whatever surface the water is touching. Between the teeth. Inside the guard. Down in the pivot. Nothing has to fit into the gap, because the water is already in there.

Do I still brush my blades?
Yes. Brush them like normal, then run them through this for what's left down in the teeth and the guard. This is an extra step, not a replacement for one.
Does clean actually cut better?
A blade packed with old hair and product has to fight through it, which means more drag and more friction against skin. A clean blade moves the way it's built to. That's not a medical claim — it's just how a blade behaves.
Do I need special solution?
No. Warm water. One less thing on the reorder list.
How loud is it?
About an electric toothbrush. You can run it with someone in the chair.
What shouldn't go in?
Nothing with a motor or battery — pull the blade off the clipper, don't drop the clipper in. Dry carbon steel straight away or it spots. Never bleach in the tank.
Does it tick my state board's box?
Rules differ by state, so check yours. Ultrasonic cleaning shows up in industry guidance as a way to handle the cleaning step that comes before disinfecting.
